Accuity Enhances Its Industry-Leading Global Payments Data File
SKOKIE, IL – December 2, 2009 – Accuity, the leading worldwide provider of payment routing data, AML screening software and services, is pleased to announce the availability of Global Payment File™-Plus (GPF-Plus) 2.1 – a new version of its comprehensive collection of payment and other essential information for all bank offices worldwide. This release further enhances what has become the industry’s Golden Copy of payment processing data.
This update includes additional correspondent/SSI information that will improve rates of payment straight through processing (STP). Specifically, GPF-Plus 2.1 now indicates the date that the correspondent/SSI relationships were last updated and provides additional details indicating not only the general payments category but also providing the specific detailed payment type such as foreign exchange payments, trade finance and treasury transactions. The new version of the file also specifies the SWIFT/BICs involved in international correspondent/SSI relationships: the owning bank's SWIFT/BIC, the SWIFT/BIC of its correspondent bank, as well as the SWIFT/BIC of any additional intermediary banks.
In addition, GPF-Plus 2.1 presents enhanced SEPA payment scheme information indicating both the start and end dates for banks participating within the SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT) and SEPA Direct Debit (SDD) schemes.
“The additional correspondent/SSI information and enhanced SEPA payment scheme details will enable our customers to create more accurate payment messages and achieve greater rates of payment STP,” said Brent Newman, Accuity’s Managing Director of Products and Data. “We are committed to continuing to release these sorts of enhancements to Global Payment File and providing the market with the most accurate and reliable data available for payment operations.”
