Improve efficiencies with the most detailed banking database in the world
Whether you process one or 100,000 payments per day, The Global Banking Resource (TGBR) will help improve your payment straight through processing (STP) rates and become an integral part of your daily operations. TGBR is the single source of critical payment routing information covering all bank offices worldwide.
Golden Copy of payments data
TGBR is an online look-up tool that contains the most comprehensive, global database of financial institutions, including contacts, correspondents, subsidiaries, affiliates, financial and payment information and much more. Its powerful search engines ease navigation and allow customized research. Available online, it is designed specifically to meet the information needs of the financial services community and provides a direct link to Accuity’s database—the industry’s Golden Copy of financial institution information.

Online Directory
TGBR is a well-established online directory that allows you to obtain critical settlement data such as SWIFT connected BICs and routing codes, categorized SSIs and data needed for compliance with SEPA payments.
National and international payments
In the correspondent banking world, two bank identifiers co-exist: the BIC and the national code. The BIC remains the prime identification method for international payments, but the national codes listed on TGBR identify banks and branches with a much higher granularity, suitable for domestic processing. When your institution sends a payment to a beneficiary whose bank has no BIC, TGBR gives you the national clearing code of that beneficiary's bank.
Increase payment STP and reduce risk
TGBR increases payment STP rates, including your SEPA transactions by helping you optimally route payments. TGBR can also reduce costs associated with fraud by helping you detect potentially fraudulent items as soon as they enter your processes.
Enriched data for optimal routing decisions - Intelligent Payment Routing
Know which bank offices are linked to which clearing settlement systems (such as UK Faster Payments, TARGET2, SWIFT, EBA Clearing and FedWire). This allows you to make informed decisions, and save time and money. This tool also provides details of payments personnel for dealing with general enquiries, investigations and exceptions.
TGBR contains detailed information:

Extensive coverage of routing codes worldwide including:
-
SWIFT/BICs
